I am trying to set my SonyCRX100E/CH to work on my RH5.2. The problem is
after I selected SCSI simulation and uncheck IDE-cdrom support when
recompiling kernel-2.2.5, I could not mount that cdrw and playcd anymore.
(actually, I could mount to NEC with /dev/scd0 .../dev/scd7, but no
connection to Sony cdx; xcdplay could not find media in both cdrom)
my ide info:
hda: harddisk
hdb: NEC x40 cdrom
hdc: SONY CRX100E/ch
hdd: zip driver
I could not get enough help from HOW-TO file, which is outdated. What I
want is to let the NEC do normal cd-play, cd-data thing and burn cd with
SONY. Any suggestion?
Is it possible to have IDE-cdrom support for hdb and SCSI-IDE for sony at
the same time?
