I have some trouble in making /dev/lp0 work. I have two working paralel
ports, lp1 (0x378) and lp2 (0x278), but I need a third one. I have an ISA
card that should be able to do the job, but when configured as lp0
(0x3bc), the kernel reports "/dev/lp0 offline".
The kernel detects all three ports OK, but on the BIOS startup screen,
only 378 and 278 are shown.
The 3rd card works when I set it to 278 or 378, so I guess the problem is
not there.
My only guess would be that my BIOS only supports 2 ports, but I thought
Linux didn't care.
