You can mount it with what ever filesystem type it has, for example

mount -tmsdos /dev/fd0 /mnt/fd0 (/dev/fd0) must be a "valid directory".

Or use "mtools"

'mdir' will show the directory listing of the floppy without mounting the
drive at all.

'man mtools' for more details.

If you do not have "mtools" on your system, they are obtainable at;

Possably the version number could be higher than stated above, or even worse
the URL's could have changed, sunsite is now "metalab" i belive.
