Hello,
I've got a problem with loadlin. I'm using loadlin v1.6a, which I
bellieve is the latest version, though someone can correct me. I'm using
slackware 3.6 and kernel 2.2.5. I'm trying to load linux from my dos
partition, I'm using the following command:
loadlin bzImage root=/dev/hda2
the last part I've changed and it doesn't matter. I'm again using a
kernel 2.2.5 compressed image. I'm getting the following error: this is
from loadlin.err which I've piped,
---error file output.txt.
LOADLIN v1.6a (C) 1994..1996 Hans Lermen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Your current configuration needs interception of "setup.S,"
but the setup-code in your Image file is *very* old (or wrong)
Please use BIOSINTV/REALBIOS or try an other Image file
Please enter name of kernel image file followed by optional
command line parameters for Linux (e.g. root=XXXX)
or @file ( file = param file ) or "empty string" to abort:
^C
The ^c I aborted it. Again, I'm using v1.6a, kernel 2.2.5, and the
latest bios on my system, a vectra m.
Any advice?
Thanks.
Dave.
