I think you didn't include libc when you installed.  At least that is
the package that supplied most of these files in slackware 3.4.
Possibly, it might be called libc-devel or so.  It is the modern way,
that you have to have the -devel packages to compile _anything_.  Also,
please read /usr/src/linux/README, particularly the part about making
symbolic links to the kernel header files.

We will see you right, but it may take a while. :-)
