Hello,
I am trying to map my keys on the Inspiron 7000 so that the CAPS LOCK
and the CONTROL keys are swapped.
I have read the man on xmodmap & have created a file in my home
directory named .xmodmaprc.
I entered it as stated in man pages.
remove Lock = Caps Lock
remove Control = Control_L
keysym Control_L = Caps_Lock
keysym Caps_Lock = Control_L
add Lock = Caps Lock
add Control = Control_L
when I source the file it gives me back:
bash: remove: command not found
bash keysym command not found
bash: add command not found
maybe I do not have the proper keysym(s)
thanks in advance for any input on how to do this and find proper values
for keys.
