I just upgraded GLIB and GTK+, I did the ldconfig, and all my directories
are in /etc/ld.so.conf. However, for some reason, I am experiencing
problems configuring programs to compile on my system. I usually get an
error message stating that gtk-config returned a version response of
1.2.0, but it found 1.1.2 (I think, can't remember the actual version
number). Anyhow, I installed botht he old version and new version from
source, and had no problems on compilation or installation. Why can't it
find the newest verstion of GTK?
Thanks.
