rc.S gets run at startup. When init gets around to going multiuser, it
runs rc.M, which runs rc.cdrom if it exists and is executable, does a
bunch of other stuff, and then runs rc.local if it exists and is
executable. conf.modules I don't know about. As far as slackware
knows, I am still using a monolithic kernel.
