Hi,
Having had a lot of fun with SimCity on my PC, I wondered whether LinCity
would be just as good. So, I downloaded LinCity-1.11 from metalab. The
archive contains the sources. I read the docs that come with the package.
Then I did
# make lincity
and got this output:
gcc -c main.cxx -o main.o -O2 -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align
-Winline -DLIBDIR=\"/usr/local/lib/lincity\"
gcc: installation problem,
cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or directory
make: *** [main.o] Error 1
Duh? I'm fairly new to all this (3wks). My knowledge of C, gcc, make, et al
is not yet up to spec. So, could someone explain to me in idiot terms what
this error message says and what I can check/do to alleviate the problem and
let me compile the application?
