No, just use the origanal kernel again, it has everything you need as
modules, if that is, if you followed the install instructions and advice.

Possably you did not even need to build a new kernel as normaly speaking the
distribution installed kernel has just about all one needs as modules.

As to the question at the top of this mail, read /usr/src/linux/.config
That will show what is included in the version you made, providing you have
not deleted it with make clean, distclean, mrproper or the likes.

Before doing anything else read the HOWTO's and README's,
/usr/src/linux/README
/usr/doc/*/Kernel-HOWTO.gz
