Thanks to all replies.
This morning, I got that problem solved. The trouble here is sendmail gets
confused when starting during booting.
I changed localhost name to other name, which I prefer, when setting up ppp.
Due to unknown reason sendmail still just know "localhost" other than the
changed one. It seems that it keeps trying to search that changed one.
Apparently, it could not find it, cause my machine is not on any network
when booting. (ppp is the only connection)
The key, which works, is to tune that back to localhost. (you can see it in
this mail's head)
I become hating use GUI software to change system settings. I believe the
best way is still to change configure files by hand. The trouble to newbie,
just like me, is there is no such kind of good manual to show tricks. I
wish those linux hackers can write one later :)
