Printing Netscape mail.

I'm using Netscape Comm. 4.05 and cannot seem to get printing to work
correctly. The printout is all but unreadable. Emacs , Xless, and
command line printing are ok. I added the line _export  PRINTER=epson_to
the /etc/profile  for my Epson 24 pin dot matrix...to no avail.

Any ideas?
