Great improvement.

No more error messages
I get the login prompt
and password prompt

when loging in I get PPP garbage
I say "continue"

the window closes and the next is
asking for a IP logon number
here I give my server 204.143.107.46
and the connection logs on.

when I look at the connection it is up (2 small green computers)
but they are not blinking

details give me cslip connection 345 byte recived 0 byte sent
and there it hangs.

I guess it is because I have set up my linux to be a PPP connection
and not a SLIP connection

I suppose I could set up one account as a CSLIP and another as a PPP
using different login scripts specified in the /etc/passwd file.
