I don't think so.  I've only ever worked with one CD-bootable machine
and when ever I accidentally left the RedHat 5.2 CD in there and turned
it on, it would attempt to install.  So I don't think the install CD
would make a good bootdisk.

On the other hand, why would you want to?  Why not just make a boot
floppy?
