Sorry for posting this here, but I did in a spanish mailing list and
nobody knew the answer.
I could setup properly my keybord on RedHat 5.2 for console and for most
console applications, but it doesn't work in X, except for "nxterm",
where characters appear properly.
If I open a "kterm", "rxvt", or with netscape & StarOffice:
Characters like: "����" appear properly,
But: "�" or "�" do appear like "�a" or "�e" !!!
So: most "composed" characters do NOT work, but "�" or "�" do well
(?!?!).
RH52 Install-Guide says about problems with keyboard:
"... Try copying: # cp path/xfree86 path/metro ..." but didn't work
either.
Any hint?
