Did someone already reply to this? If so, I missed it, and I apologize for repeating things. Your use of "different video card" to refer to different X servers is misleading you. Each item entitled XF86_***** refers to a different **program** to run X (called an X server). Your Linux CD included a bunch of them, but your install program may only have installed a few (likely ones are XF86_SVGA, XF86_mono, XF86_VGA16, and one for whatever video card choice you specified during the install provess). To check this, enter "ls -l /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_*" and see which servers are on your system. If you need other ones, you'll need to load them from the CD (or download a newer version of X11). As I recall, the info at the X11 home site (www.xfree86.org) says you need to use VGA16 with your card, but you should check the site yourself rather than rely on my memory. I seem to recall someone on another list suggesting that the "framebuffer" package, or something like that, might work with this card, but I don't know the details (investigate at your own risk).
