I have been wondering this myself. I just upgraded to 6.0 and the
druid keeps doing the same thing. I have a 3.84 gig hdd seperate for
Linux, and I have tweaked as much as I can on Druid and still end up
with a report of abour 300 meg unused, but I can't assign it- cause it
says there's no more room. Cuious.
Now- it's been a while since I used fdisk (years.) but if I recall
correctly, you won't have the problem there.

A note- you may want to partition a bit more, I like having a
seperate boot partition, and try to place the swap partition so as to
minimize the reader arm (term?) movement.

I know that's no help, but it's all I know.
