My experience is that the reverse it true. NT wants to own the MBR and you
can't put lilo on it if you want to be able to boot NT. 95/98 doesn't give
you this problem. You can just put lilo on it's own boot partition
however. The howto gives the specifics on how to boot from NT's boot
selector.
There's a HOWTO on how to set up linux with NT. And I think there are one
or two about linux and win9x. If there's not in your HOWTO dir they should
be easy to find on the net.
