Update:

After the previous messages, I went and looked at Sis's web site (haven't been 
to see in about a month), which, by the way is at http://www.sis.com.tw/

I found the links to third-parties developing X servers (btw, I was mistaken - 
it says they do release their technical notes), and following them, found that 
an X server has been done for the 620 AGP!

it apparently has not been put into the main XFree86 distribution yet (I think 
the newest version is 3.3.3.1 - at least, that's what mine is), but can be 
downloaded and installed separately at:
http://www.suse.de/XSuSE/XSuSE_E.html  (for the english version of the page)

The server is available in both tarball (.tar.gz) and RPM format.
