Well Folks,
After being on Linux-Newbie for about 3 weeks, I know just
enough to be Really Dangerous, thanks!
I'm now going to sign off to save what little sanity I have left
and give my in-box a rest. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm "up to
my neck in it".
Thanks again... and here's an FYI... for the road.
later!
- M.

____WebTrends To Deliver Linux Web-Traffic Analysis App____
WebTrends Corp. disclosed plans yesterday to include a trial
version of its WebTrends Enterprise Reporting Server for
Linux Web server environments on Red Hat's Linux
applications CD, which will ship with the forthcoming 6.0
version of Red Hat's Linux operating system.
The traffic analysis software uses a multithreaded analysis
engine to track and report on activity on Web sites running
on Linux. WebTrends' application supplies real-time Linux
performance data to systems administration via a browser
or Microsoft Word interface.
System administrators can customize the reports and adapt
them so multiple IT staff members can view them. WebTrends
supplies 70 configurable report tables and graphs.
Performance summaries come in daily, weekly, monthly,
quarterly, or yearly reports. -- Amy K. Larsen
