You are being asked to log in to the system. Type an account name (e.g.,
root, if this is your first login), and you'll be prompted for a password
(the one that Red Hat asked you to set during the installation process).
THen you'll get a shell prompt and will be able to execute commands.

localhost is the name of the host. I didn't know that RH6 set that as the
default name.
