I dont think you are doing anything wrong, your system is looking in the
correct place for the file, the return you are getting means what it says.
On the Redhat-6.0 cdrom, stage2.img is located in RedHat/base and that is
the sub dir, in which your ftp session is looking for it on the server(s).
As to why its not on all of them would be a better question.
