Thanks for the advice on the boot disk. i had tried
to use rawrite but had a problem with my system
seeing my CD-ROM in DOS. I set it as a bootable drive
and circumvented the boot disk completely.

Another question though. i am trying to install
another distribution on the same HD that holds a
non-bootable Win98 partition, RH5.2 and 3GB for this
new distribution. I want to install RH6.0. I have
Slackware 3.6, Mandrake 5.3, and Debian 2.1 also. I
would like to use Slackware but have no documentation
at hand so I have chosen RH6.0 for now to experiment
with. My problem arises in Disk Druid (DD). When I
try to make a / partition, it says that the partition
is already in use. Is it possible to use DD to
partition the drive with all of the new partitions
named the same for RH5.2 and 6.0? I am not aware of
any other name that I can use for /. i hope I am
asking the right questions. i am so new to Linux and
partitioning in general. i would assume the error
came about when adding the new partition because a /
partition already existed. Please let me know if this
is correct and if I am ommitting any vital
information. Thanks in advance.
Dave
