I have now set up the Win95 / W3.11fWG network. Win95: DX-120 and DX-100 W3.11fWG: IBM 2410 (486-66?) [The HOWTO says to get it running sweetly before trying to get the Linux integrated...] ...with more to come. Am I sane and aspiring to something do-able (or conversely liable to go mad) if I want to: - put an IBM Token Ring card (a 4/16) and an Ethernet card (probably a 3C509B-Combo) in the same box (probably a 486-66 with 16MB)???... and - have another Windoze box (486) hung off the end of the IBM Token Ring (with another 4/16 card), - with the Linux box translating Ethernet and Token Ring? Just wondering. It's a case of 'asking rather than doing and tripping up on my ignorance'. Would getting more Ethernet card be simpler? In any case, the next step is the Linux box added as the Net link/firewall/server (Apache, Samba, etc). Peter Ellis Canberra, (.au)
