Hi,
I have a Compaq Presario 1234 and SuSE 6.1. This weekend I built a 2.2.9
kernel with APM support in it. However, when I 'halt' the machine it won't
power down. It complets runlevel 0 and then just sits there. I've also
enabled apmd in /etc/rc.config (SuSE specific).
When I still was using RedHat 5.2 I built a 2.0.36 kernel with APM support
and *it* worked perfectly.
What more information do you need to help? What else can I check?
