Why are people so unwilling to read the README's? In the README for the
2.0.x kernels, just after the instructions for untarring the source, are
detailed instructions on 2 ways to patch it. I doubt they have removed
them from 2.2.x.
cd /usr/src
patch -p0 -i patch-2.2.2 &>oops
Or read the README and do it the normal way. :-)
