fs corruption

        Hi!
        Again, abut that filesystem corruption.  After using e2fsck there
appear some files/directories that are 'fixed'.  But they are garbage.
They show negative size, and they have things like I get a message like
permission denied - for trying to delete that garbage - and this sounds
pretty stupid.  Permission denied for root?!?
        Than e2fsck doesn't fix those problems.
        Else, what does that /lost+found directory do?  What is its
purpose?
