It seems as if it does. I have never personally attempted it, however as

Ah.. you're right. You don't need a modem... but for simplicity sake, it
helps. IF you have a modem, all you gotta do is an ATA on one, and ATX0 ;
ATDT0 on the other, and you have a connection that will be made for ya...
:).
