I have a Soundblaster Live and I have obtained sblive.o file. I have a
problem that the versions of sblive.o that are included only work on kernels
2.0.35 and 2.2.5. I unfortunately have 2.2.2 so it will not work. The
install script does not work and I have tried installing it manually but
with no avail. I even tried to use insmod -f sblive.o to force it to ignore
the kernel version.
It seems to be I have two courses of action. I could either continue to try
an install the SB Live module. Could someone give me some instructions
because I do not fully understand what I was doing before. The other course
of action is to perhaps find a version of Kernel 2.2.5 and recompile it.
Does anyone know where I can download the source code for this?
