Now i hope i am correct in saying this;

In 2.2.x the need to use an append statement in lilo is no longer needed as
2.2.x kernels should be able to detect memory above the 64M level.

If that is NOT the case then simply add an append line to your lilo.conf and
rerun lilo.
I cant give you an example at the minute, i seem to have forgotten the
syntax.
