SuSE 6.0 has the following (taken from the side of the box in came in when I
bought it at the local store):
- KDE 1.0
- Current OS version - Kernel 2.0.36
SuSE 6.1 comes with the following:
- KDE 1.1
- Kernel 2.2.5
I'd say you will be okay going with SuSE 6.0 if you just want to avoid the
2.2.X kernel.
Thanks... Ben

I already checked there, as it was the first place I thought of. And
when I say iso, I mean a file that you burn to cd which contains
information about the burning as well. SuSE's website has the iso's for
6.0 and 6.1, but I need the 5.3 distro version, which (methinks)
contains the 2.0.x kernel as opposed to the 2.2.x kernel which I have
heard has poorer performance on systems with less than 16 megs of ram.
Thanks,
Geoff
