Wrong (fortunately).

Look at the entire message - it is a bounce coming from
[EMAIL PROTECTED], not from the list itself. This is a
long-standing configuration problem at the irmg.com site, which has an
account that sued to be subscribed to linux-newbie, but that got deleted
there without ever getting unsubscribed. The sysadmin at that site has never
managed to figure out how to fix this, and owner-linux-newbie (the only
person who can fix things at the list end) seems not to be a real person.

Personally, I doubt this will ever get fixed - it's been happening for a
couple of months now. I have my mailer set to discard unread all mail from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- I get one for every posting, as does (I
imagine) everyone on the list. Just ignore them and hope that someday,
somebody fixes the mess.
