My advice is to get either 4dos, TakeCommand, 4nt, etc. These are command-line tools 
that are
highly configurable, it even has it's own scripting language. I have a lot of "unix" 
commands
mapped to dos commands at home on my Win98 box, so, for instance, I type "ls" at my c: 
prompt, it
does a "dir" for me instead. :-)
They provide timed demo versions  you can download and try out. Enjoy. :-)
