Any ideas on what protocol would be the best to use to connect the two (Appletalk, IPX, TCP/IP). I've invested about an hour into trying TCP/IP with no luck. Any halp, even a pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Shawn First establish that your ethernet adapters are working properly (ideally connect them initially to a known working network) I had trouble getting RH5 to recognise my NIC (3Com ElinkIII), RH6 picked it up fine. As to which protocol to use, my first preference would be to use IP, second choice would be ATalk, with IPX a very poor third runner. Also make sure that your xover cable is correctly configured - I don't use this method - a 10Bt hub is much more flexible, and you can connect your mini-LAN to another network either directly or through a router etc. HTH Gerry ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com.
