The X includes are the header files that describe the X libraries.  The
path is correct if you have installed the XFree86-devel rpm in the
normal place.  RedHat considers compiling to be program development, so
you need the -devel package for any library you want to use with a
source package.  To be fair, most distros do this. :-)
