Hello, Richard,
After you configure your printer, and before you create a custom
bootdisk, there should appear a dialog box entitled "Root Password". Set
your root password there. Of course the login name that goes with it is
"root". When your machine reboots after the installation is finished, you
will get a "#"prompt. Login as "root", give your root password, and then
create your user account with the "useradd" command, I.E. "useradd rsalts".
