Yes, it can be done. The details depend on what you mean by "dial-up
Internet connection." You probably mean a ppp connection -- gives your host
an IP address, lets you run a Web browser and get e-mail to your host, and
the usual sorts of Internet services.
The best way to get started is to get and read the PPP HowTo -- probably on
your Linux host somewhere (look in /usr/doc), or available online at URL
http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html . With this as background,
you should be able to get started, and this list is a good place to come
back to with any specific questions you have.
