To get those NE2000 ISA cards to work in the systems over here we
recompiled the kernel and added support for them, reboot and they work
great. Under /usr/doc there is a Ethernet.Howto that explains how to
get ethernet support and also has an entire chapter on NE2000 and
compatiable/clones.

If the doc isn't there check out www.linux.org click on support, click
on howto, these are all linked to sunsite newest docs. If you haven't
recompiled your kernel before also check out the kernel-howto.

You may also be able to add support thougha module, check out the
module-howto found in the ussually places. Just pass it the vaule of
0x240 and it should go fine.
