If you use 2.x and 5.x in parallel (why, btw?), then you should modify
the keyrings *only* with the older version, because the newer one
extends the format. It's like Word: If you use 95 and 97 and want to
exchange documents between them, you better not use the 97 format ...
Use 5.0 only. Then you should be fine. You can do anything you can do
with 2.x with 5.0 also.
