If you are running X using "startx", check to see what script defaults it
sets. My (Debian) system uses /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc (and
xserverrc) if there are no .xinitrc and .xserverrc files epecific to the
user. RH may be different in detail, but the same approach of looking in the
"startx" script will probably work.
