I just had another thought about this... You could do...
Owner - root
Group - Superuser (root) read/write
Group - users read/write
Everyone Else - read only
with
chown root.users filename
chmod 664 filename
but you couldn't do...
Owner - root
Group - Superuser (root) read/write
Group - users read/write
Group - busers write only
Everyone Else - read only
As far as I'm aware you only get 3 slices of pie...1 owner, 1 group,
everyone else.
