Hi all, I am running mandrake 6.0 on a Toshiba P233 laptop. I recently installed a kernel upgrade to fix a shutdown bug.(Thanks to all of you who responded to that problem.)The shutdown problem is gone... but now, since the upgrade, my pcmcia modem will not work. I get "unable to map card memory" "memory cs: requestwindow : resource in use" during startup. The modem worked fine before. PCMCIA controller is a Toshiba ToPIC97 with 2 sockets. The chip is an i82365. (verified with # probe -m) PCMCIA is enabled. # cardctl status shows "5v 16-bit card present in socket 0" # cat /var/run/stab shows socket 0: Anonymous memory. Any ideas?? Thanks a lot, Paul Bridgeman Fayetteville, NC USA
