If you are using smb encrypted password you need to Add the users into the
/etc/smbpasswd file
The Command to try on the Linux box is
# smbpasswd -a pcuser
ENTER NEW SMB PASSWORD FOR pcuser
########
REENTER Password
########
the -a option adds the user if it isn't in they aren't in the list

smbpasswd
