I don't think you or anyone else who is using Windows are
"brainless wierdos". What I do do is make fun of the OS not the person.
Most people see it for what it is, harmless fun. There are a few
different reactions that I receive, but on the whole they are, in the long
run, positive. Let me explain.
Some people react with insulting me and then blindly going on the
way they are. These types of people I usually ignore. Some people get
defensive and try to defend their OS. This is positive because it makes
them learn a little more about the software they are using, and that can't
be a bad thing. And then some people will poke fun at me and Linux, and
then secretly try to find out more about Linux. And a few of those may
even install Linux and see what all the fuss is about.

This is what newsgroups, mailing lists, IRC etc is for. There is
always someone out there who has had your problem and perhaps found a
solution who is willing to help. But if you insist on paying for your
