A friend of mine is getting the following immediately after hitting return at
the LILO prompt:
boot linux
loading linux
error 0x10
over and over and over...
I might not have the messages exactly, since he relayed it to me over the
phone (but the 0x10 is correct). I strongly suspect that he has a corrupted
lilo map or something, but before I drive 50 miles to fix his computer, I'd like
to be sure. I booted up on the very same computer the night before without
any problems, and this was on the very next reboot. Has anyone seen this
before? I was unable to find it in my FM.
