I'm currently using Slackware 3.6 and FVWM95. My X desktop blanks after
5 minutes or so of no keyboard activity. How can I have a "screen
saver" run instead of just a blank screen?
I read the man page for xset and can turn the blanking on or off but I
see nothing about specifying a file to use as a graphic "screen saver".
I read the man page for xlock and ran "xlock -nolock -mode bouboule"
(for example) and that works fine but it only runs once. It doesn't
blank the screen (draw the bouboule again) after I'm once again active
at the keyboard.
Also, I find editing fvwm95rc to be a bit tedious as the only way to
modify my desktop. I have changed the look a bit and added/subtracted
items from the button bar but it's sort of a pain. Is there an easier to
use/modify desktop for Slackware Linux and X?
I have other X questions but I better do a little at a time :) TIA!
