have no idea if he'd like getting an email. Probably.
I know Linus' (work) email address and you could find it if you searched
hard, but he gets literally hundreds of emails every day so maybe you
should think twice about sending a thank-you to him. I say this not to
discourage your appreciation, but to try to re-direct it towards
something he might appreciate even more. For instance, you could
contribute to the Linux community by writing some software or some
documentation (especially in your native language).
