Friends,

If I enter my slackware system runlevel 1 and try to login as root, I get
the following error:
Unable to change tty /dev/tty1: Bad file number

If I try to boot the system normally, it freezes after starting the
syslogd?

What should I do to solve these problems?

Warm regards,
Ditesh Kumar
