Caldera provides a regular version and a Lite version. At a local
computer show a couple years back
they (a local linux group) was giving these Lite cd's out for free. I
really enjoyed the CD, the
Lite version was really nice, never tried the regular version though.
You should be able to find either version for little money, check out
http://www.cheapbytes.com and
see if you can get it for $2 or so. I would highly recommened grabing
an old 486 and a couple CD
from differanfirst hand. You wouldn't buy a car without test driving it
would you? It would give you
a better idea of where each distro stands, plus it could be fun.
