Short answer is that it is theoretically impossible. Postscript is a full
programming language rather like Forth (anyone remember Forth and HP
calculators?). It's basically not possible to know what a chunk of code in
any language is going to do without running it (in some fashion).
However,
If the postscript contains a load of quoted strings
200 300 moveto "This is a title" show
then you may be able to strip them out and reassemble them.
Alternatively, the postscript may embody some sort of engine, followed by
some hex data which the engine interprets. In which case, you'll have to
work out what the engine is doing to the data.
